The `mv` also failed, with the same error message. Googling for that 
problem didn't really help, but all the solutions used Finder instead of 
the terminal. I tried using Finder's Get Info to see if that gave me 
anything extra. Turns out all the files I downloaded were locked, which 
doesn't show up in an 'ls -al' command. The top response on this

worked perfectly, and the import was successful! Thanks for your help
