This reply isn't very helpful in terms of sorting out IIS but...

I've just started playing with CGI/perl and I thought about using IIS. I
had a Win2k server with IIS on it and installed Perl etc. I couldn't get it
to work so resorted to plan b).

Plan b) was to download and install Xitami web server. It's small, simple,
effective and I was up and running in minutes. So if you don't have to use
IIS consider Xitami.

Subject: installing CGI in IIS??

Hi,

Is it possible to install CGI on IIS? I have installed perl 5.06 from
active state. But it seems that the .pl file would not get read and
renaming it to .cgi file will not work either.
Any suggestions?
Please Help

Thanks,

Eric
