The barcodes at the grocery store are EAN/UPC codes. See <http://www.uc-council.org/>. They contain nothing more than a product number. Since they are doled out by a central body, the store can ensure that no two products have the same number on them. The number has two parts: a manufacturer code, and a product code for that manufacturer. > Do they have > their own private database with that information in it? For pricing, yes. Not sure. There may not be an easy way. You should probably contact the publisher. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
