I wish to unsubscribe. This is a good list
but I'm not doing Perl work right now and I
don't have time to read it.

I have tried to unsubscribe follwing the easy
directions offerred at the end of every digest.

I have replied to the confirm message from
the list management software using the email
response AND with the web link.

Both the mail response and the weblink are
broken, saying no such box (my address)
exists, yet clearly it does because I
continue to receive this digest.

I wrote the human-in-charge and have heard
nothing back. I've included all the relevant
error messages to help him/her diagnose the
unsubscription problem.

Sorry for the spam, folks, but this seems to
be the only way to get anyone's attention
and get removed from this list.

Secondly, someone in charge of the list needs
to investigate the broken address parser,
or find out why digest unsubscription
requests don't get honored.

Because this is an honorable list, and I
-chose- to subscribe, it would be wrong
for me to do what so many lazy people do,
and just add it to my spam blocking software
spamlist. That list gets uploaded and with
enough spam votes, this valid list would
become blacklisted as spam and disappear
from other folk's mailboxes.

But if someone can't kick me out I'll have to.

Your's truly, [painting a target on his ass]

me
