I need HELP bad!
I have never really had a problem installing perl modules either via CPAN or
Self Install. However, I find myself back in this position with a new
desktop system and my troubles are mounting. I am using a system with an
Intel 3.06GHz processor with "HyperThreading" and a dual channel motherboard
that simulates dual processors. I am telling you this because it may be part
of the problem.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
In trying to install DBD::mysql I get the following error "as indicated by
the last line of the next paragraph"..(missing separator). The next
paragraph is the print of "Makefile" showing the line in question (83) which
simply says SIT, an extraneous line that shouldn't be there.

This third error is the most common that I receive. It again is the "missing
separator" but it includes two lines (Indicated my proceeding asterisks
added by me for clarity). The first line (installman l) is either incomplete
or extraneous, while the second (Sit) is definitely extraneous.
