p0: I just purchased a copy of the
Perl Objects, References & Modules
ISBN: 0-596-00478-8which I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about these, or knows someone who should read these, so that they 'just get it'.
p1: I of course disagree with the author on some points, things that are TIMOWTDO.... but from the perspective of a 'learning book' - one has to start some place, and the kids will learn some of the Dr. Demento Problems as time allows.
p2: I think I am also CRANKY because there is a lot of good stuff in there that I REALLY WISH would have been in book form when I wound up beating my head on it....
