I wish instructions in the wiki included examples. A lot of my struggles as a newbie are with (1) cabal+stack, trying to conform to ways of doing things to get effects (e.g., perfect reproducibility) I don't even care about right now, and (2) documentation that doesn't tell you much about how to make things work.
