All we really need is to clean up a session during shutdown. The simple way
is to trap SIGTERM and do the right thing: at the minimum do a save. If
possible, prompt user to save yes/no. XSMP and D-BUS do more than Unix
signals, such as the option to restart automatically. That sort of thing
might be useful, but let's learn to walk first.
