I have a feeling I am missing something basic so I am looking to this list
for help.
Assume the following:
my $vhost_server_name = qw(somedomain.com);
my @vhost_server_alias_array = qw(www.somedomain.com *.somedomain.com
sub.somedomain.com);
foreach my $vhost_server_alias (@vhost_server_alias_array) {
if (($vhost_server_alias ne "www.$vhost_server_name") ||
($vhost_server_alias ne "*.$vhost_server_name")) {
print "Does not equal $vhost_server_name $vhost_server_alias\n";
}
}
Expected output should be (ignore www. and *. hostnames):
Does not equal somedomain.com sub.somedomain.com
However, I get the following:
Does not equal somedomain.com www.somedomain.com
Does not equal somedomain.com *.somedomain.com
Does not equal somedomain.com sub.somedomain.com
So something is wrong with my IF... OR... syntax but for the life of me I
can't see the problem.
Any suggestions?
