I have used the CPAN network at least 6 times and every single time, about 2 hours after I finish I my hard drives lock up and the system goes down. It is a Maxtor 7200 RPM 30G drive, on Red Hat 7.2. It has a 1.2 Ghz processor and loads of memory.
