Hi all, Our servers are set up with a single development box, that contains all the compilers and what not. All the modules I need to install have to be compiled on the development box, and then installed on each server (make install). This works for now, (thanks to nfs) but I would like to package up the "installed files" so I can just drop them on boxes when needed, and also to back up the install files so I can remove the source directory.
Now I have installed a few modules, and I was just wondering if there was somewhere in those monsterous makefiles that I can see where and what is installed, or perhaps a verbose install mode so I can see exactly what is going where. I have seen the TO_INST_PM rule, which seems like it may lead to what I am looking for. Should I watch for anything else ?
