Paul, >From what little I have learned of Perl, no. It knows nothing about HTML. It will write whatever you tell it to. If you happen to tell it to write something that is in correct HTML format, you can use a web browser to view the resulting file. The purpose of the cgi.pm module is to help you write a file that is in correct HTML format.
