Hmmm. That's interesting. Perl doesn't seem to fit everyone's way of thinking. I'm not sure whether that's a problem with Perl, or some people's thinking ;-) Actually, it can take a while to think the "perl way", but when you do it often helps your programming in other languages. (Commenting generally rather than on you specifically.) Me, I would reverse your list.
