Mail::Sender does support authentication.
Currently the only protocols supported are LOGIN, PLAIN, CRAM-MD5 and
NTLM though.
#!perl
use Mail::Sender;
my $sender = new Mail::Sender {smtp => 'localhost'};
die "Error: $Mail::Sender::Error\n" unless ref $sender;
print join(', ', $sender->QueryAuthProtocols()),"\n";
__END__
will tell you what protocols are supported by your server.
