Anyone help me in importing data from a text file in to a excel..
maybe you want to have a look at this: Spreadsheet::WriteExcel
i cannot tell you if it does what you want, but the 'twinsister' Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::Simple works just fine and it's both a kind of cross-platform.
