I have tried to install the DBI module for Perl and experienced the bug mentioned in the DBI Readme file:
Note: There is a bug in perl 5.8.2 when configured with threads and debugging enabled (bug #24463) which causes a DBI test to fail.
How can I disable "threads" and "debugging" ? Is there another solution to this bug? Thanks.
