The problem is the line above. You are evaluating the @_ in scalar
context and assigning the result to $datenbank. And an array in
scalar context evaluates to the number of elements. So you end up
with 1 in $datenbank. You need either
my $datenbank = shift();
or
my ($datenbank) = @_;
