Can you tell me what's the difference between GD and Image::Magick perl libraries?
This will sound super generic but its the truth :)
GD is a Perl API for the gdlib library ( http://www.boutell.com/gd/ ) and Image::Magick is a Perl API for the ImageMagick program ( http://www.imagemagick.org/ )
There's also Imager :)
I'd look over theri homepages and their cpan pages and see what fills you needs...
I'm sure others will have more specific info for you but I figured I'd cover the basics ;p
