My two cents again. Having read Learning Perl v3 I cannot support the
claim that Randal L. Schwartz is a troller. Nor can I support the claim
tha the has "good Perl skills". However, I think I could support a
claim that he has "superior Perl skills" if such a claim were made.

On what planet can Randal Have been described as abusive/rude.

As far as I am concerned the point he was making was very valid ie:

1. Be careful how you answer questions
2. If you are learning it is better to learn the right way to start with
3. Quick and dirty solutions are OK as long as you realise that they
are just that

As I said valid points
