First of all ,i was shocked to see the list of books.
No shocking. I was once seeing more Perl books than those.
For most of us, learning from 3-4 of those books is enough for handling the
general tasks with Perl.
I would take it another step further and say that only one book is
needed to learn Perl (no "answer" to this -- the book that suits the
reader's style best is the best choice) and the remaining 2-3 is really
there for reference. I think if you pick the best 3-4 Perl books and go
from cover-to-cover, you'll go crazy... :-)
