Hi Kunal, Gnome is quite configurable.. and the panels can be moved around. I use gnome with only a panel at the bottom of the screen.. This isnt a big issue. The usually followed rule I've seen is laptops have a bottom panel only, and desktops have panels both at the top and bottom. Anil
