I just finished my exams!!!!! :-D WaaaaaaaY!!!!!

80% for the practice and 86% for the final :-))

Now I've come to celebrate as I am officially not a student any more.... Hang
on a sec! Dang!! This means I get to look forward to joining the masses of
unemployed :-(( this isn't what I signed up for - LOL. uh

Well Acer Ferrari's, yes I have 2 I think originally they both came with
5200RPM HD's no??? Well having said that both by 32bit and 64bit models HD's
went bang in the first year. I then stuck a 7200RPM Seagate in the 64bit which
well... let's just say when playing Command and Conquer Zero Hour or Need For
Speed Underground used to Bang dramatically.

The 32bit blew up recently so we ordered a new laptop this time an HP Compaq
2230s 12.1" which should be better at least my mom gets it. The 64bit is being
used as a server and hasn't overheated once yet considering my bedroom gets
waaay hot due to all my equipment and it's an attic, also POWERNOWD does a good
job on it. Yeh AMD Athelons run bright red which is why I elected to go for an
Intel this time as I don't trust AMD's any more unless in desktops with the
proper cooling. Maybe some liquid nitrogen too.

Well you guys I am all yours now for at least a month and a half so if you have
any jobs or tasks for me pile it on...... :-)

Well... it was great hearing from everyone again. How about getting a nice
collaboration suite for 2 reasons:

1. to consolidate everyone to belenix.org so we don't end up with fragmentation
(adapted from a quote from Anghad to me for my Belenix page), also can share
calendars, IM, mail, tasks, notes, briefcases to upload files (at least with
Zimbra)

2. the best reason, so that we can work as a tight nit community and work more
efficiently then any other open source community plus in doing so offer more to
would be users then any other open source community and the best part work
while having virtual cups of coffee with each other :-))

-if I had a spare machine I would implement a test of my idea but unfortunately
I joined the club of the unemployed and aimless so no finance to get another
server and build :-( plus I have b/w constraints using ADSL too as UL channel
is only 1Mbps :-(

It was the bloody 4700RPM harddisk, slow as hell, hot as hell. In addition
   the CPU was a desktop Athlon64 !
I needed to use a pedestal fan while running OpenSolaris/KDE builds.

Moinak.
