Thanks for the blunt feedback.

Here are the system requirement:
http://wiki.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Belenix_FAQ#What_are_the_system_requirements_for_running_BeleniX_.3F

On most of the systems that we have access to, Belenix has worked out
of the box. Sound cards are usually a problem, and an install of the
sound drivers from OSS usually helps.

Could you tell us what problems you faced in low-resource
configurations, please ?

Could you try "belenix" as the password, please ? Please see :

This is unfortunate news. Could you tell us what the exact error
message is ? There is every chance that we either have a fix scheduled
for a future release, or a workaround. Some details on your problem
would definitely help.

We have actually asked people to submit logos and artwork in the past.
If you have great artwork, then please do help.

What Belenix is good at is:
- in being a playground for new technologies (e.g. the distro
constructor, the RAM disk based boot, the bundling of crossbow, the
alternative to the IPS package manager).

- in showcasing innovative ways of using opensolaris technologies.
e.g., by using dtrace cleverly, Belenix today has the world's fastest
bootup speeds on liveCDs.

Thanks for the feedback. We look forward to hearing from you about the
exact problems that you faced so that we would be able to help you.
And if you have ideas for a great logo, or good KDE themes, please do
let us know !
