Just FYI, I have been struggling with MySQL 5 and Amarok2 from last Sunday and got working builds just now (Gcc 4.4)
Finally Amarok2 works for basic usage! Had to rebuild MySQL 5.1 with proper build flags and configure options. The dynamic_cast issue got resolved with different gcc flags including -frtti. Then it started crashing in the statically compiled in embedded MySQL piece. I had to do more experimentation and changes from FC11 to get a dynamic embedded lib.
