Short answer:
- Boot the VM off the 0.7 ISO image/CD, mount the belenix partition at
some mount point, and then free up space by clearing packages from
within /var/spkg

Realistically, create a 20 GB VM instead, since you're going to be
developing code and will need much more disk space. Are you able to
install Belenix 0.7 onto the physical machine itself ? If you're
facing issues, then start off a separate mail thread on this.

You need to have about 5 GB for the alpha install - this is everything
in the repo, because we're all testing stuff together and will fix
bugs where ever we find them. Later, we can arrive at a more concise
list of packages - this will have to be done for the LiveCD anyway.
