Short answer: - Boot the VM off the 0.7 ISO image/CD, mount the belenix partition at some mount point, and then free up space by clearing packages from within /var/spkg Realistically, create a 20 GB VM instead, since you're going to be developing code and will need much more disk space. Are you able to install Belenix 0.7 onto the physical machine itself ? If you're facing issues, then start off a separate mail thread on this. > Also, how much HDD space should i allocate for 0.8's smooth installation ? > You need to have about 5 GB for the alpha install - this is everything in the repo, because we're all testing stuff together and will fix bugs where ever we find them. Later, we can arrive at a more concise list of packages - this will have to be done for the LiveCD anyway. > regards, > -- > ------- > Kunal Ghosh > BE 5th semester > Dept of Computer Sc. & Engineering. > Sir MVIT > Bangalore,India > > Quote: > "Ignorance is not a sin, the persistence of ignorance is" > -- > "If you find a task difficult today, you'll find it difficult 10yrs later > too !" > > Blog:kunalghosh.wordpress.com > Website:www.kunalghosh.net46.net > V-card:http://tinyurl.com/86qjyk > > _______________________________________________ > belenix-discuss mailing list > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/belenix-discuss > http://groups.google.com/group/belenix-discuss > >
