I have used KDE 4.2.x on all my desktop based systems including ones with bad vaastu and good vaastu and it has major issues such as: -messed up screen res, windows appear in 1024x768 while rest of desktop is in 1280x800 -CPU spinning up to 100% due to KDE4 file manager (if I remember correctly) then hanging there and stealing valuable cycles or causing system to overheat and shutoff -also minor bugs with the GUI interface too, in terms of handlers and operations causing apps to quit unexpectedly or not show properly So am back on Gnome for a while! ...well that's my thoughts anyway :-)
