Hello,

I have been heads down for the last several weeks with the
BeleniX package management stuff and am happy to report
good progress on this front.

The spkg utility has now grown better wings and a proper repository
setup is also active which is also mirrored at ibiblio.

See the latest updates on this front on my blog:
http://moinakg.wordpress.com/. Apart from what is mentioned there
the group package facility is also working and the repository is ready
for general package publishing.

Among other things the major pieces to be done are uninstall with
dependency support, catalog signing and download via Axel.

You can try out the latest spkg package from here:
http://www.belenix.org/binfiles/SFEspkg.tar.bz2
  > bunzip2 -c SFEspkg.tar.bz2 | tar xvf -
  > pkgadd -d . SFEspkg

Running spkg without arguments prints a complete help text. The
first thing you will have to do is run 'spkg updatecatalog' to fetch
the latest catalogs.

Test/usage feedback highly welcome.

Regards,
Moinak.
