During a recent conversation over email, Shiv opined that we should perhaps not waste money on DVDs since most people who take these do not really put these to use. Shiv recommends instead that we focus on preparing demos. I have myself taken CDs and not really put them to use (that's what I did with the first Belenix CD that was given away at foss.in 2005, for e.g). However, I also realize the value of crossbow being integrated with Belenix, and being a great tool in the hands of an interested person. Here's what I'd like to do: - Create some really winning demos + recipes that people would be blown away by, and which they'd want to put to use asap. - Have Belenix + Crossbow ISOs/ VMWare Images/ VBox Images available on an http server. - Copy the content over and give it to them on USB media that they might have. - Have a stock of about 100 DVDs that we could give to those who may _not_ have any storage media of their own. > I don't know if Sun Studio can be redistributed.
