I've attached my .pkgtoolrc file
I forgot to mention in my post that after one creates the .pkgtoolrc
file, one needs to customize it. In the file that I have have
attached, you'll see that I've explicitly specified the paths to the
LOGS folder, the SPECS folder, and the SOURCES folder. I had to also
create the ~/packages folder which I don't mind keeping there since
all that I really do in Belenix is build stuff and browse the web (my
home folder is the same as the build folder :) )

I've also attached a .sh file which loads environment variables for me
when I use it like this:

source buildenv.sh
