BeleniX includes OSS (opensound) which in recent builds is throwing up a device permissions issue. The sound device is present but with R/W only for root. So sound should work as root. Thanks in advance. Regards Mark For some weird reason the KDM login items for Compiz are not showing up after installation. However Compiz can be started by executing "start-compiz" in Xfce and "kde-compiz.kdewm" in KDE. Thanks for posting these to the list. These are all A/Is for the next release. In any case 0.7 represents a complete re-engineering from scratch so such problems were expected. These will be tackled in 0.7.1.
