I believe this problem is because of the lack of pre-installed VirtualBox tools in Indiana/BeleniX. The VirtiualBox SVN repo now has specific X11 drivers for OpenSolaris guest, but these came after the 1.5.6 release. I will try building VirtualBox from source to get these new drivers.
