Building that version of Sun's libm gives me a binary that requires FPU, SSE
and SSE2 - so that's not much use.

FTPing the libm from SXDE build 68 into Belenix, then mounting that as
/lib/libm.so.2 gave me a working Belenix to play with. Two further slight
problems:

1. X would only work if I selected the base X config in the text mode
configurator thingy.
2. For some reason the DNS hadn't been configured as part of the DHCP, so I
had to manually add my nameserver to /etc/resolv.conf .

But presumably these are due to libm failures during boot.

I'm currently posting this message from within Firefox on my Athlon XP
system. The Sun libm in SXDE build 68 doesn't require SSE or SSE2 - only an
FPU.

Cheers

Andrew.
