are you sure you have solaris on a linux Swap? AFAIK, opensolaris can only be installed on a ufs partition. If you have opensoalris developer edition already installed, partition 1 is probably ufs and not linuxswap. If waht i said is the case, then yes, you can delete partition 1 during setup and break it up into 3. and ontinue installing soalris on partition 1. When you install the rest, install them on the correct partition. But be cautious, as the belenix installer has been running into problems lately. Anil
