Alas, no luck at all, turning off acpi and disabling the serial & parallel
ports (no option for legacy usb support) didn't help it boot any further.
Out of curiousity, I tried to use regular OpenSolaris build 70 and while it
installed successfully, it also failed to load on reboot. I was able to boot
into a shell in recovery mode.

Oh well, thanks for your time! I'm sure as OpenSolaris continues to mature,
there will be a BeleniX that runs on my laptop.
