Hi, I have been an enthusiastic follower of Linux development in local indian languages for some time. At one time I used to be an active member of the Indlinux.org mailing list. With that intro I would like to ask the following questions:
1) While browsing through indlinux.org and bengalinux.org I noticed that Bengali linux has matured a lot. Looking at the screenshots I noticed that one can do a complete bengali install using Fedora Core. I am familiar with Gentoo system at gentoo.org and I would like to create indian version of Vidalinux (anaconda-fied ver of gentoo) and start with bengali version for it. Do you know if anybody is working on similar gentoo project ? 2) Is there something like Indlinux-Bengali-xxx.tgz containing only the diff files from Fedora Core which I can modify and start with for gentoo ? 3) I can host the portage tree on my server. 4) Suggestion: The home page does not have the website navigation structure, present in subsequent pages on the left. If I am stepping on anybody's foot, please pardon me. With regards. Swapan [swapan at swapsphoto dot com ] _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
