Is this only a KDE problem? Do you see the correct (updated) values when you do
$ locale -k "LC_NUMERIC"
etc after setting the new locale?

Btw, do you know any guide with some example, like which value means what? Currently I got some tutorials for AIX locales. Are they same for linux? :-S
