Debian Sarge is likely to be frozen (?) within a few days. Meanwhile
there has been a lot of realignment of ttf-indic-fonts package. It has
been split into several packages.
Currently ttf-bengali-fonts package contains :
Ani
Likhan
Jamrul
Mukti
Mitra
Lohit Bengali
I was thinking if the Akash and Sagar fonts could be added to the list.
If any other fonts are to be added, please send me links. Some
information is also needed (for Akash, Sagar and any other fonts to be
included) :
1. License of the font. (very important)
2. The person/persons who drew the glyphs and the origin of the
glyphs (the design that is)
3. The origin of Roman characters
4. Whether the name of the font is similar to any other non-free
font
5. the font family, and other characteristics of the font like
weight, width and shape of the font, etc.
6. URL for downloading the font.
