Hopefully we can ensure >80% translated status for the next version.

What I suggest is that
once a translator finishes translations... the work is immediately
merged with the version in the CVS and committed.. so that any changes
made by the developers can be easily incorporated with the latest
translated version. Also, the file is within easy reach of the
translator or other reviewers from the gnome-status site:
http://l10n-status.gnome.org/gnome-2.12/index.html from where it can be
d/led like any other file.
IMO, its indeed a good idea. I think, a reviewer on the average,
corrects only 10-20% of total translations done by a
translator. So surely, its wastage of human resources :-)
if rest of 80-90% string translations cannot make it to the CVS because of just 10-20% of ambiguous, "wrong" translations.
Specially, when the lifespan of even the "correct" translation
is order of only 6 months :-) and undoubtedly there is a clear lack of (wo)manpower.
