Caveat: there is a known ext3 filesystem corruption bug in 2.6.19 and 2.6.19.1, it's apparently hard to trigger (though someone said they got it through just compiling).
Hmmm... hadn't read about that yet. We generally don't recommend ext3 for more than /boot and maybe smaller / and other partitions. Not trying to light off a file system war here.
