Are you happy with the IPMI on Supermicro? I've been unable to personally test a KVM + remote media IPMI from them, especially the one integrated into their newer motherboards. I was quite happy with Sun's eLOM. Less happy with HP and Dell (and Fujitsu-Siemens) which require extra licenses to unlock anything above baseline capability IPMI (oh, and don't get the started on them not selling empty drive caddies). -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE _______________________________________________ Beowulf mailing list, [email protected] sponsored by Penguin Computing To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf
