Someone sent me a copy of the LICENSE file, it cites the academic restriction and then includes the Artistic License 2 and GPLv3. The GPLv3 in that file says: # If the Program as you received it, or any part of it, contains # a notice stating that it is governed by this License along with # a term that is a further restriction, you may remove that term. So effectively cancelling out the academic use only restriction! It's all a bit academic now (ahem) as the MPI component is a Perl program, and Perl isn't supported on BlueGene/Q. :-( cheers, Chris - -- Christopher Samuel Senior Systems Administrator VLSCI - Victorian Life Sciences Computation Initiative Email: [email protected] Phone: +61 (0)3 903 55545 http://www.vlsci.org.au/ http://twitter.com/vlsci -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlCbSk8ACgkQO2KABBYQAh/Q5gCdHDXpUdPK8uT33dlnEXseTlGz mFoAn2KxaIudv6OcZcojlmz5JTS6nqeH =A65H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Beowulf mailing list, [email protected] sponsored by Penguin Computing To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf
