why not all of /opt? I guess I'm a little surprised that when people say "diskless", they actually mean "root is tmpfs/ramfs". we run diskless, but simply use NFS root. (lots of benefits from having root be a single filesystem, since updates become not worth mentioning...) > play games with symbolic links for other libraries.
