It depends. Warewulf allows hybrid (RAM disk plus NFS) images that can be pretty small (~ 200 MB). I also have some rather hefty Hadoop images (Hortonworks HDP 2.2) that are pretty large (~ 3GB). I mount the applications in /opt under NFS (described previously) -- Doug > > Thanks, > Trevor > _______________________________________________ > Beowulf mailing list, [email protected] sponsored by Penguin Computing > To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit > http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf > > -- > Mailscanner: Clean > -- Doug -- Mailscanner: Clean _______________________________________________ Beowulf mailing list, [email protected] sponsored by Penguin Computing To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf
