I was wondering if anyone on this list ever did performance or compliance
testing on vendor installed MPI implementations. Sometimes after there are
system upgrades I get suspicions about performance changes or new bugs, and
was thinking it would be nice to have a set of tests that could run after
each upgrade.

OpenMPI has the MPI Testing Tool <https://www.open-mpi.org/projects/mtt/> which
looks like it would work, but most of there tests seem private. I was
thinking of writing config files to do all the OSU MPI benchmarks for
performance testing. I would still need something to test compliance with
the MPI spec though; make sure all the MPI calls work like they should and
don't hang.

I thought that something like this would already exist, but I haven't been
able to find anything. If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Ben Parsons
