The Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center (GACRC), a division of the Enterprise Information Technology Services at the University of Georgia, is seeking a talented individual to join the GACRC as a Systems Administrator with the rank of Specialist. This position is part of a team, which supports the research computing needs of more than 280 groups at UGA. The GACRC’s primary resources include two Linux high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, and multi-tiered network attached storage devices.
As part of a team effort, this position will be responsible for the joint system administration, software maintenance, system monitoring and troubleshooting of a number of research computing systems and storage devices, including compute clusters, parallel/clustered file systems, high-speed interconnects, GPU-based computing, database servers and a virtual environment which sustains support services.
