This is the advice I took at the beginning and also, according to our vet 
(one out of a practice of 5)  who said pretty much the same thing (who also 
owned Berners so I was quite comfortable taking this advice) -- I think that 
is why Caesar doesn't like his neighborhood walks too - boring! Really loves 
his hikes and his romps through woods with his pal (even though he seems to 
be better with the Rimadyl on the play days).
