" When my husband took Mahkah in for his DHLPP shot(i assume this was the shot he had, he was probably 3 or 4 months, maybe older), everything seemed fine- my husband decided to stop at a friends house before driving the hour to our home. While at the friends house he noticed Mahkah's face looked weird and puffy. Then Mahkah started having breathing problems, needless to say, my husband drove faster than fast back to the vet and they gave Mahkah a shot right away. the vet did say it was more than likely the Lepto part of the shot. I do have to say that it scared us to death and that the vet now keeps Mahkah for a few hours after his shots just to be careful.I didnt know that the reaction had anything to do with Mahkah being a Berner-does it or ????
