A teacher in my daughter's school got a berner pup a few weeks ago for a surprise gift from her husband and realizes now that she can't take care of it. She has a newborn baby and a 10 year old Golden Retriever and the pup is just too much for her. He's a 10 week old male that her husband bought from a "reputable" breeder in New Jersey who is refusing to take back the puppy. It sounds to me like she would just be happy to place him in a good home -- I don't think she's asking for payment.
