Just wanted some support. My 12 yr old scottie dog, Hollie is sick. Tried to get her to the vet yesterday but the ice storm here in York, PA closed offices. We will get her in today, hopefully. She seems to be wheezing, not eating, and very lethargic. She will drink some water and does urniate, but don't know if the other end is working or not. I wonder if she has a blockage? She seems to like to lay in front of the fan and she lays out back on the step in the cold (maybe she is hot w/fever?) Anyway, Heidi (my B-girl) is fine and just sort of sniffs Holly. I hope she is going to be ok because I lost my 13 yr old Springer mix this summer of old age and I'd hate to lose my scottie, too.
