Each handler gets a bandana (tied so it would easily slide over a puppies head). The object is to get your dog to come/sit and put the bandana on without touching him/her. Treating and luring, vocal praise is allowed. Sounds easy right? Well, here's the catch. The other object is for the other handlers to call as many dogs to them and take their bandanas off and replace them on their own dog. The dog with the most bandanas at the end of the assigned time, wins.
This not only reinforces the recall, it also gets the puppy comfortable with "strangers". It is really fun for handlers and puppies alike.
If you want to make it a little more difficult, you can lay down hula hoops or some other indicator and make the handler do the recalls only from those areas.
Hope I was clear enough!
